HOW TO REACH US
Solution 1. To get to Trastevere, the cheapest solution is to take the regional train because it has a stop right at Trastevere station. From here, you can take bus 8 (which currently replaces the tram because there are works on the line), getting on at the Stazione Trastevere stop and getting off at the Piazza Gioacchino Belli stop, towards Piazza Venezia. The stop is located by exiting to the left of Trastevere station, without crossing the street.
Once you arrive at Piazza Belli, the house is located a few hundred meters away, in the direction of Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere.
The cost of the regional train is 8 euros per person, for the bus it is 1.5 euros per person which can also be paid by credit card, directly on the bus.
The time needed from Fiumicino to via dei Fienaroli is 1-1.50 hours depending on traffic and the frequency of the buses, which varies during the day.
Alternatively, you can take a white taxi from Trastevere station to via dei Fienaroli 10/A, asking to be taken to the front door, maximum cost 12 euros, for a 10-15 minute journey.
The taxi rank is located on the left exit, in front of the Trastevere Station sidewalk.
Solution 2. The Leonardo Express train does not make intermediate stops and goes directly from Fiumicino airport to Termini Station, which is quite far from Trastevere. From here, the cheapest solution is the H bus that goes directly to Viale Trastevere. The H can be taken in the square in front of Termini Station, in the direction of Capasso and the stop is always Piazza Gioacchino Belli.
The cost of the Leonardo Express train is 14 euros per person, for the bus it is 1.5 euros per person which can also be paid by credit card, directly on the bus.
The time required varies greatly, depending on traffic because there is work on the H line. Currently, it can be estimated that with this solution from Fiumicino to Via dei Fienaroli it takes no less than 2 hours.
Furthermore, the H line is notoriously crowded. But it is also a question of time slots.
Alternatively, you can take a white taxi from Termini Station to Via dei Fienaroli 10/A, asking to be taken to the front door, maximum cost 15-16 euros, for a 20-30 minute journey.
The taxi rank is located exiting the station from the Piazza della Repubblica side, on the right because there is work in progress. Generally, the queue is quite long.
Solution 3. The least economical, but certainly quicker and more comfortable solution is to take a white taxi, directly to Fiumicino and ask to be taken directly to your home, giving the complete address. Trastevere is easily reachable from Fiumicino and the ride has a fixed cost, all included 55 euros, for a duration of 45-50 minutes, without too many traffic problems.
Warning: do not accept offers from irregular taxi drivers, follow the queue for white taxis. Generally, there is a queue but it is fast.
